My Story

Therapy can be a transformative experience when you find a therapist that is the right for you. My approach to therapy focuses on creating a truly collaborative, safe, and empathic space for healing and growth. Life comes with its many unique challenges, and I am passionate about walking alongside those who are hurting and in need of support to navigate these challenges. I do this through a trauma-informed person-centered approach. I believe that you are the expert of your story, no one knows better what it feels like to be you than you. As a therapist you can expect me to show up with compassion, honesty, and genuine care for your emotional and mental wellbeing.

In the 4 years I have been in the mental health field I have walked alongside individuals, couples, and families navigating: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, addiction, and trauma. I have worked in various levels of care, residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs, and schools. A majority of that experience has been working with women with eating disorders, trauma, and addiction. I utilize evidenced based treatment modalities tailored to the individual’s goals and therapeutic needs.

In my time away from the office you can find me somewhere outside in a beautiful space (hopefully sunny) with my husband, maybe a book and a good cup of coffee. I’ve recently embarked on a new endeavor to learn how to watercolor paint since I have always loved what can be created with this art medium. It has been a bit of a slow process but like many things in life that take time to achieve, I know it will be worth it.
